Choose one marketplace and a suggested location first. Available categories, conditions and specialist fields depend on that marketplace and region.
AI match criteria
Every Flipinator search checks candidates against your plain-language criteria. State required features, acceptable alternatives and dealbreakers. AI setup proposes editable settings; Manual setup edits the same search directly.
Stay in control of AI assistanceMinimum and maximum price
Set the listing-price range you can act on. Leave a bound blank when it does not matter. Keep delivery, repairs and collection costs in your buying budget too.
Choose practical price limitsLocation and distance
Confirm a suggested place and choose a useful search area. Location-word filters can include or exclude matching text in the place shown. They are not map boundaries or driving-time estimates.
Refine your pickup areaCategory and condition
Use the supported choices to narrow the type of item and acceptable condition. Read any category advisory. A seller’s condition label still needs checking against the actual item.
Understand marketplace-specific choicesWords and phrases
Require or exclude text in Listing title or Location shown. Separate alternatives with commas. Double quotes request whole words or exact phrases, and matching ignores capitals.

- Optional word filter
- Exclude title phrases: "box only", "case only".
Why it matters: A camera with its case is useful. Excluding the word case on its own could hide that bundle.
A table that fits

- Maximum listing price plus a practical radius for bulky collection.
- AI match criteria
- Round table no wider than 110 cm. Chairs optional. Exclude glass tops and tablecloths.
- Optional word filter
- Require title alternatives: table, dining. Exclude: "cover only".
Why it matters: Dimensions in AI criteria help describe the requirement. Confirm measurements and whether it fits through the doorway with the seller.

- AI match criteria
- Working Makita 18V LXT drill. Body-only is fine. Exclude batteries alone, repair parts and incompatible battery systems.
- Optional word filter

Why it matters: Body-only can be the right purchase for this search. The same phrase could be unwanted in a search for a complete starter kit.
TUNE WITHOUT GUESSING
Start small, then use the matches to improve it.
- Describe the buying job. Use one keyword for the item and clear AI criteria for the qualities that make it suitable.
- Add genuine limits. Choose budget, place and supported details that reflect a decision you would actually make.
- Review before saving. AI suggestions remain editable. Advanced options are available in Manual setup.
- Check Matches and Filtered out in Feed. Inspect available match details, identify a repeated mismatch, and change one filter.
More filters do not consume more slots. One active search uses one slot at its selected interval. A separate marketplace requires another search and slot.

Can I require either of two words?
Yes. Any comma-separated value can satisfy one Require a match filter. Separate required filters must each match. For example, one filter for sofa, couch and another for leather requires either item word plus leather.
Can I preserve a rare model despite a title exclusion?
Always keep a match lets a matching title take priority over other title word filters. Location filters and AI criteria still apply. Use a distinctive phrase and review the result.
Read about title exceptionsDoes AI matching verify condition or authenticity?
No. Matching uses available listing information. Verify measurements, compatibility, ownership, condition and authenticity through the original listing and appropriate inspection.
Why are there fewer matches after adding filters?
A required word may be absent from normal seller titles, an exclusion may be too broad, or the criteria may demand information sellers rarely provide. Review Filtered out and loosen one nonessential restriction.
Can I use the same filters in the mobile apps?
Yes. The web and mobile composers support the same search outcomes. Sign in to the same account to edit the same saved searches across devices.
