Start with the search that found the listing
Open Feed and use its filter to switch between Matches and Filtered out. Keep the source search in view, especially when several searches watch similar items. Expand the listing’s match details where available, then compare them with that search’s saved criteria.
A listing absent from both views was not necessarily rejected by your filters. It may not have been available to the search, may predate the search’s new-listing baseline, or may be outside the marketplace’s returned results. The Filtered out view is not a complete archive of everything published on that marketplace.
Look for the smallest contradictory requirement
Check title requirements first. Requiring an exact model suffix can reject a seller who used the shorter family name. Check exclusions next: “parts” can occur in “all original parts”, and a broad accessory word can appear in a complete bundle. Finally, read the AI criteria for a requirement that the listing never establishes.
Practical limits also matter. An overly tight budget, wrong location, unsupported category assumption or narrow condition choice can reduce what the search sees. Compare the saved summary with your actual buying decision, rather than assuming the latest listing proves the whole search is broken.
Change one thing and judge new activity
Remove the specific unnecessary requirement, narrow an exclusion to a quoted phrase, or clarify an ambiguous AI sentence. Save the edit and review later activity. Do not assume an edit will reprocess and alert every historical listing that was previously excluded.
Keep compatibility, safety and true budget boundaries intact. If a detail is essential but omitted from most advertisements, decide whether you want to review uncertain candidates yourself. A search should make that tradeoff explicit rather than quietly changing what you are willing to buy.

Common questions
Does Filtered out show every listing on the marketplace?
No. It concerns listings considered for your searches, not a complete marketplace inventory.
Will editing a filter resend old alerts?
Do not expect old listings to be re-alerted. Review future activity and open an existing listing directly if you want to reconsider it.
What if Feed has matches but my phone is silent?
That points to device notifications rather than search filtering. Check the alert status in Settings and the phone’s notification controls.
