Why we built marketplace alerts
Marketplaces are rich with useful secondhand goods, but the work of finding one particular item is repetitive. A person opens the same app, restores the same filters, scans familiar listings and wonders whether anything new appeared. That routine is especially frustrating for rare parts, measured furniture, a specific bicycle size or a discontinued piece of clothing.
Flipinator keeps the search active in the background and puts new matching listings in one Feed. It does not ask for marketplace passwords, place bids, contact sellers or pretend to be the marketplace.
Search settings you can review and edit
Each search belongs to one marketplace, one confirmed location and one understandable buying job. Another marketplace becomes another search. That boundary keeps the source, result, interval and active capacity visible instead of hiding important differences behind an “everywhere” switch.
The customer describes what they want in ordinary language. Useful details appear progressively. Technical search machinery stays out of view, while every suggested value remains editable before save.
Control device alerts and search frequency
There is no dashboard full of engagement metrics. The signed-in product has Feed, Searches, Settings and Help. Device alerts are offered after a successful search, when permission has a clear purpose. Feed remains usable when alerts are off.
The visual system avoids fake testimonials, invented popularity, dramatic urgency and decorative dashboards. A promising listing should stand out because it fits the search, not because the interface manufactures pressure.
Available on web, phones and tablets
The web experience adapts across desktop, tablet and phone. Native iOS and Android apps use layouts appropriate to each screen, secure device storage and native push. Light, dark, keyboard, touch, screen-reader and calm-motion use are part of the product standard rather than a final polish pass.
