Set up Flipinator on your phone, from sign-in to your first search

A phone is a convenient place to notice a match, but the useful work begins with a clear search. This walkthrough explains the mobile journey so you can prepare the item, budget and location before opening the composer.

Use the account you want to keep

Check the mobile-app page for current App Store and Google Play availability. When the app is available for your device, install it from the linked store listing. If you already use Flipinator on the web, sign in to that same account so its searches and search capacity remain together.

The app supports email sign-in, Apple, Google and optional passkeys. Follow the offered sign-in flow and check the account email in Settings if a device appears to have no searches. A new empty account is not evidence that your original searches were deleted.

Allow an alert when the search is ready

After saving, allow notifications if you want this phone to alert you. Each registered device with permission can receive alerts for the account’s eligible searches automatically.

Open Feed to review matches and the original marketplace listing to check the seller and item. Your phone does not need to keep Flipinator open for active searches to run. If a match appears in Feed without a visible phone alert, check this-device alert status and the operating system’s notification settings.

A practical checklist

  • Check public app availability on the mobile page.
  • Sign in to your existing Flipinator account.
  • Confirm one marketplace and a suggested location.
  • Review the keyword, criteria and interval.
  • Allow notifications after saving if you want phone alerts.
