Keep the account identity consistent
Sign in to the same Flipinator account on every device where you want the same saved searches. Check the email shown in Settings before creating a replacement account. Different sign-in addresses can lead to different accounts, even when both devices belong to you.
If a new phone shows an empty Feed, first open Searches and confirm that you reached the expected account. An active search with no new matches is different from an account with no searches. Use the sign-in recovery and Help routes when you are unsure, instead of making duplicate accounts and purchases.
Set up alerts on each installation
Allow notifications on the new phone if you want it to alert you. A browser’s permission does not grant permission to an iPhone, and one Android installation does not configure another. Return to the app after changing permission so its current-device status can refresh.
You can keep more than one device signed in. Searches continue independently of which screen is open, and Feed provides a shared place to review results. Sound, quiet modes and lock-screen display still follow the individual device’s settings.
Restore access through the existing purchase relationship
A subscription provides search capacity to the account; it is not a separate fee for each screen. Open the plan controls in Settings to see the active provider and management path. Web subscriptions are managed through web billing, and store subscriptions through the store that sold them.
After reinstalling a store app, Restore purchases can reconcile an existing purchase when you use the expected store account and Flipinator account. It does not buy a new subscription. If the product reports a conflicting provider or ownership problem, use Help rather than purchasing again through a second provider.
A practical checklist
- Check the account email on the original device.
- Use that same Flipinator account on the new device.
- Allow notifications separately on each installation.
- Check the existing provider before buying anything.
- Use Restore purchases for an existing store purchase.
Common questions
Can I use iPhone and Android with one subscription?
Use the same Flipinator account to access its search capacity across supported devices. Management stays with the provider that sold the subscription.
Will uninstalling the app cancel billing?
No. Manage cancellation through the subscription’s billing provider. Removing an app is not a cancellation request.
Does Restore purchases charge me again?
Restore purchases checks an existing purchase. It is separate from confirming a new subscription.
